Inspired by her 22-year career as an occupational therapist and her own personal transformation, Chris is passionate about helping women navigate the physical, emotional and circumstantial changes that frequently accompany midlife and in helping women over 40 find love. Rev. Jacqueline V. Arnold is the founder and CEO of Restoration Retreats, Inc. 501(c3). It is part of her purpose and destiny to fulfill her passion to help other women who have been wounded by life’s issues.
The retreats focus on uplifting; raising self-esteem and helping women focus on the beauty of who they are. There are sessions that deal with the mental, emotional and spiritual self-care women so desperately need.
Jacqueline has travelled across the U.S. as well as overseas trying to expand her knowledge of life outside her small hometown of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, where she was born. Her passion to serve God has never limited her service to a particular denomination. She has worshipped with all races and cultures where she gained a greater understanding and love for God’s people.
Jacqueline has served in leadership positons in many of the denominations where she worshipped at, mostly working with women. She became a licensed minister in 2007 and served as an Associate Minister at her church.
After raising her 3 children, Jacqueline returned to school to complete her college degree, graduating from Strayer University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude). She earned an Associate in Applied Science from the University of Kentucky, Hopkinsville Community College (Phi Theta Kappa); a 4-year Biblical Studies Certificate from Jericho Christian Training Center College (Top Honor); a 2-year Information Processing Studies Certificate from Northern Virginia Community College (Summa Cum Laude); and she is an honor graduate of Draughon’s Business College, Paducah, Kentucky; She is also a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda and Alpha Chi National Honor Societies.Jacqueline worked for the federal government for 20 years retiring with a Governor’s Citation from the State of Maryland, a letter of congratulations from her State Senator Steny Hoyer of Maryland and a flag flown over the United States Capitol.
Jacqueline is the proud mother of three children who serve their county in various positions. Tamara is the Dean of Students at a high school in Richmond, Virginia; Tina a Capitol Police Officer in Washington, D.C. and Timothy a member of the United States Armed Forces. She is the grandmother of 10 beautiful grandchildren, 6 boys and 4 girls.Â
